just wondering if anyone has purchased the 2016 wheel to wheel nfabs (T1580CC). If so, how was installation? What are your thoughts on the durability? Is it true there are no end Caps?Thought I have read that some have had issues installing the 2nd gen W2W's (T05800CC)...especially lining up the bolts properly. P.S. Feel free to share some pics ;)

I have a pair of 1589CC on my Gen 3. They are the wheel to wheel double cab. The fit was fine. I thin they look better than the Predators because they sit closer to the body. There are 6 mounting holes in the truck but you only use 5. There are no end caps which I though was weird at first but it makes sense. It allows water and air to move out of it. You can't see it when its on the truck. It's dark out so I can't get any photos. I purchased mine through runningboardwarehouse.com It save me $130 between the price difference and free shipping. Paid $399.25. It was drop shipped from N-Naf.

Thanks for the feedback fellas! I just picked up a set of the 2016 Tacoma 3" W2W for $364 shipped. I has some major issues installing a pair of 2nd gen nerf steps so I went ahead and ordered nfabs 3rd gen model..T1580CC-TX in the textured finished. I'll follow up with some pictures!

Great pic! These look 10x better than the predator steps. These are the long bed version right? Did u get the 3rd or 2nd gen versions?

It is the Gen 3 long bed T1589CC which is the 3" textured version. Fit was great. There are 6 mounting holes under the truck but you only use 5. The bar is sturdy to because my fat ass was on it yesterday.

Six weeks ago I bought and installed N-Fab's 2" textured T1678QC-TX with end caps for my '16' access cab. I love them. The only thing I thought a bit weak was the forward mount tab and attachment point. The kit came with grade 8 bolts the oem dime size washers. After the install I noticed the passenger side front step flex a bit when under full load, I weigh180 lbs.

My solution was to make my own steel washer three times the thickness and 10x the surface area to spread the load. It stopped the flexing dead. Maybe over kill, but I'm happy with the fix

Nice but, watching some of the install vids, the welds look pretty amateur.

Where is the best place to get the N-FAB steps for a 3rd gen from? Cheapest I've found so far is $380 on Amazon. Do these hold up well?
