Definitely not 2nd gen rails. I had a fibermax on my 2nd gen and when my 3rd gen arrived, I tried to see if mine would fit at all and the rails would not even fit. They were too long.

Good to hear but as ouch said they just missed the slope as part of their design.

I may not even unpack mine and also just send it back also unless something promising comes in from Bak.

I, and quite a few others I am sure, are VERY interested to see if the same rail issue exists with the Revolver X2. I would greatly appreciate an update (with pictures if possible) once you've received the cover and had a chance to evaluate it.

I already have one on order, and would like the chance to address this issue, if necessary, before it ships.

I just canceled my covers till I see pictures and her from people who have the revolver x2.

Also just sent an email to gator asking for pricing on the fx5. If anyone else is interested let me know.

Ok so apparently bakflip makes the gator fx also. That is not available for another 2 weeks or so as well.

Looks like a but more time before I get a cover.

Did you ever get around to water testing? I too ordered from autoaccessories.com and I'm worried I'll have this same issue.

Rails don't sit flush. Seals don't work. Drainage tubes are installed and show to be useless. Leaking from all sides.

I called Bak and their answer is return it.

I guess I'll call the dealer or mfg to return it. Shame they won't pay for return shipping, this thing is going to cost an arm and a leg to return. I got mine from KnB tuning. Maybe if they didn't falsily advertise it as protecting the bed from rain, I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place.

Received the Revolver X2 and rails last night...went to go this morning to install and realized they sent me two of the same rail...contacted Morrie with Tonneau Factory outlet today and he is going to "try" to get me the correct part by tomorrow...they have one chance to get it right then the whole cover goes back. A bit concerned about quality control...note the weather seal isn't properly placed or affixed. On a positive note, it looks like the rail will work properly...at least with a dry fit.1454437215354-1953067128.jpg

That is good news that the rails (appear to) fit properly for the X2!

Sorry to hear about your woes though. I'm assuming that weather seal is not glued on and just a press fit? If that is the case, I wouldn't be particularly concerned about it falling off, since the installation itself is what's meant to hold it in place. As for the two of the same rails - well that just sucks.

Thanks for the update, looking forward to seeing it installed.

The weather seal isn't a deal breaker and can be fixed...but come on folks this isn't a $200 made in China cover

Installed the replacement rails and still the exact same issue.

Also the new hardware kit they sent me because they forgot the star screws the first time only had 7 S-brackets when it should have had 10.

I don't know what the hell is going on at that factory but I'm so done with their garbage.

Just wanted to add that It really looks like that the design of the rails does not account for the kick out in the bed. Apparently, the rail design for VP and revolver are the same so I would be surprised if the revolvers don't have a problem.
Only thing I can think of is my truck is a long box sport. Do other models not have the same kick out in the bed?
