Picked up a Viair 88P air compressor after my Masterflow 1040 crapped out. The 88P works much better - faster, quieter and does not vibrate and dance across the pavement. Found the Okeechobee Fats Small Soft-Sided Tackle Bag for only $10 at Walmart. The bag also has 3 zippered side compartments, plus an additional mesh pocket for tire repair tools and other accessories. The bag also came with 2 organizer boxes which will be put to other uses. It was an easy decision to choose this over a $20+ tool bag from the hardware section.

Nice pick on the tackle bag for your 88P! I've been meaning to pick up a bag for mine as well. I find it hilarious that they ask
you to retain the cardboard box for storage, mines pretty much toast and I've been meaning to pickup a bag for it.

Great looking truck. I just pre ordered the Lola kit and got some 7" 4Runner wheels. Curious to know what size bfg you are running? I am worried about clearance with the lift and stock offset rims. Thinking about 34x10.5x17.

    Thank you for your reply

Thank you Travis. The Lola kit is a good choice. The truck feels very more stable and surefooted with these shocks. I'm running 285x70 R17.

At full lock, there is only about 1cm of clearance between tread and chassis, so there is some rubbing during hard breaking or dropping turn when the front-end really compresses and the wheel is turned pretty far. I just received the CMC plate from BAMF in the mail. Will get it cut and welded in a couple of weeks. It never rubs during normal street driving and I don't drive like Mario Andretti.

I may also get a 1-inch spacer to push out the wheels a bit farther (these are -10mm offset) from the UCA - there's about 2 to 3 cm of clearance at full lock - I don't think that will rub but just to be on the safe side.

34 inch tires will rub for sure. The 285/70 17 tires is 32.8 inches tall, but then the BFGs are very aggressive so it may be taller. I have not measured the actual height.

The AllPros ride great. Feels quite solid with these Fox shocks and the 285s. Stiffer than stock for sure, but not jarring. I ran these on nearly 70 miles of dirt roads around here in southern Nevada and AZ and they feel great.

I have not even measured yet. At stock, the bottom of the black wheel-well trim at the tallest part is 35 inches above ground. I will have to measure it and get back to you. I got the expedition rear springs and they definitely raise the rear more than front. The preload about 2 to 2 1/2 inches up front (more preload on the driver side) just to get it more level with the rear. And the rear is still 1 1/2 inches taller - just eyeballing the gap between top of tire and black trim above it. The springs will settle after a while especially in this Vegas heat so it will be a bit more level. I will also have some gear in the back, plus a plate bumper at some point to weigh it down to really take advantage of the expedition springs. Will probably have to upgrade the front springs to a higher rating once I have a front bumper too.

This kit is for the 3rd gen... I'm not sure if there is a difference between 2nd and 3rd gen suspension parts. Maybe the springs are slightly higher rate due to a bit heavier vehicle.

One thing I forgot to order is the bump stop for the rear springs. I got the expedition springs and at my current load, I don't think I'll ever flatten the springs. I loaded all my stock tires and wheels in the back and drove around for 2 weeks and I never heard it bottom out. But I'm going to order the Timbren bump stops just to be on the safe side. Looks like they just bolt on to the top of the AllPro u-bolt flip kit plate. I just ordered the BAMF sliders so some weight will be added on pretty soon.
