lol my thoughts too. If there was DVD play in the stereo I could just about justify it... but to only unlock navigation there is already a mod on here that does that for the cost of a push button and a bit of your time.

I installed my anti dark hood light yesterday but I just got a decent nighttime shot.

I never said it was cheap just legit haha. If I paid retail I probably could do without it but that's not the case. Also, I didn't want any switches or buttons nor cut any wires and potentially lose gps tracking and have a lag for a moment. Yes it's expensive and no it's not for everyone.

 

Does look legit! When you activate it to program a GPS location it does not lag or temporarily stop the GPS tracking of your vehicle (stops tracking your movement)?

When I put it in, it automatically unlocks its permanently. You can have it off or a 3 minute active period. But like I said, permanently unlocked out of the box. I did not notice any lag but then again I didn't play much. I have heard that when people use a switch and interrupt the wire they have had maybe a few hundred feet loss. That doesn't mean I can't just haven't seen it or played much with it. I more or less don't want anything grayed out. If it can do it, then I want it to push the button and do it haha

 

Dual batteries and controller! (I still gotta neaten the wiring up! I'll do so when I add another Blue Sea fuse block in the bed!)

made my own upgraded fender splash shields with some epdm rubber, an exacto knife, and a lot of patience.
the one in the first pic isn't perfect, as i was cutting without a template (i put it on the passenger side which doesn't have electrical things that don't like water...), driver side is nearly perfect
the dog helped too...

 

Did the map light mod. Really simple and a huge difference...especially having led's. I would put a picture with it but it looks no different than all the lights on. I did follow this write up though.
