Still dark this morning but I reckon I'll be out and about having fun in the mountains later. Let's see the Colorado family's 3rd gen and all gen photos!

    Cheers and safe travels

How does the 3rd gen ABS compare to 2nd gen ABS in the snow?

I went thru pep boys with a crap magnet, got it all
Carry 300lbs of sand over the rear wheels and they do just fine. I just drove coast to coast and back to sunny south cal. The sand was a must after the first snowstorm in Vail pass.

I drove vail pass Saturday and Sunday it was a trek but the 3rd gen made it no problem. Haven't driven a 2nd gen before but the 3rd I've been liking because it doesn't activate ABS immediately after loss of traction it almost gives you a chance to correct naturally. Other vehicles I've driven will activate ABS in the middle of a turn where of course you'll lose a little traction now and then which makes it obnoxious to maneuver. The 4 wheel drive is super tight when turning. Put half the drive-ways worth of snow in my bed on top of the little that fell into it over night and it drove like a dream
