lol thanks man . I think it still needs some cross bracing, but was to undecided on what to add. Plus I knew it was going to rain(like it did today :rain: lol) so I wanted to paint it as soon as I could. I'm real happy with the color and everyone that saw it in person said it real looked good.

Took out the bolts and just plasti dipped it red 3 coats and 2 coats of the plasti dip glossifier. I didn't care about over spray because the wheel was going to get plasti dipped black on the over spray.

I let it dry and cure for a day or two I can't remember the longer the better if it doesn't bug you lol.

Then I put the painters masking tape on the parts I wanted red and shot it with black plasti dip.

I need to redo them or actually use paint on them. When I got new tires it got all ripped up.

Aww. Well I got the tires mounted on the wheels and drove around for about a week then I plasti dipped them. So they haven't been exposed to the elements.

Some shots right after it rained. Glad I cut little drain holes in the bolt mounts.
I'm going to go shooting and off road on January 17th for my birthday for fun and testing.
Let me know if you want to go!

Bought some cheap headlights and cleaned them up in my free time.
They turned out the best out of the 3 I've made so far.
    IMG_0162_zpsrhrai6pw_02dd31db851742a605090cd94e33fdc59f8d09a2.jpg
Sanded the outside of the lens, then pulled the headlights apart, painted the housing black, tinted the blinkers, reassembled the headlights, cut and polish used the UV headlight protectant.

We'll see how these hold up.

Helped a friend make a bolt on tube bumper for his Tundra. 2" tubing for the 2 tube bumpers, 1 3/4" tubing for the braces between the top and bottom tubes and 1/4" plated steel boxed(not finished) for the mounts. Once again no tube bender... So we did miter cuts and welded them. We split the cost and bought the harbor freight tube notcher. It's okay I guess after buying a good hole saw from our local metal shop and modifying where it holds the tubes in place(wasn't center with the hole saw). Took the two of us 8 hours using angle grinder with cut off wheels and flap disks, sawzall, jig saw, cheap tube notcher, Lincoln 180 HD mig welder with flux core wire and other basic tools.

Here's what we finished today. I'll try to get better pictures tomorrow.

Went shooting and off roading near Barstow, CA
I didn't get more pictures since we started off roading kinda late around 4pm.
I have some GoPro footage too, but it was already getting late and my friends steering pump broke... So we had to call it.
These were the only pictures I took.
The rear shocks need to be revalved compression is stiff, but since it's a smoothie it's kind of a pain. Also I don't know when I'm going to put my DMZ Spring Under kit on so then I'd probably have to get them revalved again. On the fence on revalving them now or just waiting till I install the SUA kit. I did hit some decent sized whoops :D

I had an extra grille lying around so decided to make another Satoshi grille.
This one I actually took my time since I already had a grille on my truck and just worked on it when I had a day off or a few hours after work.
The glue is still curing, but it's finished. I'll probably sell my old one on craigslist or touch it up then sell it.

After I get a 30" light bar I'll make the hoop. I used a Lincoln MIG welder, harbor freight tube notcher, sawzall, couple angle grinders, drills and some drill bits.
Best investment a step bit. vvvvv
    [IMG]

I wouldn't mind making another one to sell and buy more tools if anyone's interested. I made it so it's bolt on and can still use the factory oil pan skid plate.

Late birthday present from a good friend!
30" LED light bar flood and spot combo! It was on sale for $135 they are trying to get this new product out on the market. It's from "GG Lighting" same company I got my 50" curved, but this one has a new different lens.
I'll probably make some brackets and a hoop sometime next week and stick it on my bumper.

Installed and all wired up. Now I just need to buy a better looking switch.
I just made some tabs out of scrap 3/16 plate I had and used the bracket that came with the light bar. It was so damn hot today...
