Good call! trucks a little more practical, so pay that off and then I'll probably look for another toy as well.

yeah good luck with that. The problem is everybody and their mother (including dealers) knows about Heuberger Subaru and their prices. Don't you think that if the dealer can sell it to you at a price that made them money, another dealer will offer you near the same price? That would not make any sense to the dealer. In any case, good luck to you.

I sold my Forester XT and my Jeep Cherokee to get my DCLB. The Jeep and Forester where great cars but the truck can haul motorcycles, bikes, etc, and is more reliable or at least I hope than the Jeep was. The Subaru was an awesome car but didn't want to deal with a trailer . The Tacoma gives me the best of both cars and its new!

Someone say STi? At this point in my life, I have no need for a truck or 4x4 ute like I've had before. I'm not off-roading here on the east coast like I was on the west coast and I really wanted something fun as hell to drive so...

2016 STi limited w/o racecar Leo attention getting rear wing. It's a sexy sedan

Subaru and Toyota have been working together for a long time. hence the BRZ and FRS that they built together. and every single Camry on the road is built at the Subaru plant in Indiana. i feel like owners of either make are just drawn to the other naturally . Im in love with WRX's and Tacomas, both are built to play offroad in. so i think its just natural for a REX owner to go with a tacoma if they want something bigger and more reliable but they can still have a blast in! i love the new taco commercials. no flaunting of any specs, or talk of best in class this, best in class that. or any comparisons to other trucks. Just explosions and dirtbikes and jumps haha. tacoma knows what its good at, and stays in its lane. If you want to play on the weekends and not give a rip about gas mileage, you buy a tacoma. if you want to post a crappy video on youtube of you in a diesel tug of war with another hick, or you want to haul a horse trailer... you buy another truck. ie dodge, chevy. i feel like the WRX has the same vibe and attitude.

Nail on the head Jrozz! All the Ford and Chevy commercials are always about horse power and towing , Subaru and Toyota actually sell vehicles to people who play outdoors. We mostly bought our Tacoma to haul motorcycles and Mt. bikes and I will use it for hunting and taking our dogs out. We used our Subarus quite a bit off road, both to get to spots to hike, bike, climb and also just playing with the car.

haha Thanks GrayYota! i love the subies. not just WRX's tho. MY sister just bought a forester and im quite impressed!

whats funny to me about the new tacos is that they have a smaller engine, produce more power and get better gas mileage lol. wish i had that in my '08

I sold my 07 wrx to buy a 08 tacoma and am very happy that I did. The Subarus are fun and good cars, but i just felt like a douche driving it.

I still don't get the trade. Quick car to pickup truck. I choose to keep my Tacoma and the '02 WRX

I had a built 04 wrb wrx with just over 350hp I sold that and went back to school, after school I bought another 04 wrb wrx with the intention of building the same car because I missed it that much got bored of it half way through and sold it . Drove a shitty cavalier until I had enough for a down payment on my Trd sport.

I miss the first one so much, I don't miss my ass dragging on the ground and having to pull myself in and out of the car. And I really don't miss all the attention I got from the cops. But God I loved that first one it killed me when I found out the kid that bought it from me wrote it off

This is #1 this was my baby

No... Heuberger has a much different business model. They are the largest volume dealer in the U.S. and make their money from incentives form Subaru on mass sales. All Subaru dealers here in SLC told me that they price match any dealer. Once I told them what Heuberger offered me, they declined to match, every Subaru dealership. The same happened to me shopping for the Tacoma. I was immediately given an invoice pricing from a dealership in Denver (Mountain State). Toyota dealerships here declined to price match or even get remotely close. I have seen multiple sales for my exact WRX on our classified being sold for more than I paid for mine. Our market is different. And no... Not everyone knows about Hueberger, or else there would be no WRX sales here, everyone would ship them in like I did and save money. Subaru dealerships are selling all their allotments here. Good try though.

Well you sound like me -- a very well informed buyer. Good luck on your Taco purchase! It's a fantastic truck and I like driving it much more than my '15 WRX.

I sold my 350z to get my truck, no different. Couldnt afford two payments and id think thats why a lot of people dont keep both. If i could have, i would.

Very similar to me. Unlike most folks here, I really loved and enjoyed my XR. It handles unbelievably well... If they got rid of that ASSIN 6speed, and came in a DC, I would buy another in a heartbeat. Although, I think it would be pretty ugly in DC ;)
