    im new to toyota.. ive owned ford and chevy trucks.. just bought a 2013 tacoma 6 cylinder, 4x4 access cab and so far i love it.. has a class 3 hitch and 7 pin round for towing,, composite bed.. on my other trucks i load the bike in the bed, hook the pop-up camper to the truck and go... anyone do either or with their truck here?? any info, advise etc?? i actual havent loaded the bike or hooked a trailer/camper to it yet but im going to bike week in daytona beach in march..driving from upstate ny to daytona beach fl... ill be pulling a trailer with 2 bikes on it.. this summer is when ill have the bike in the bed and tow the camper with it... thanks for any info...

    well the trailer we are using to tow the 2 bikes to daytona is from u-haul,, 6x12, 4 wheel, 4 pin flat, no electric breaks,, my camper is a smaller one, sleeps 3, ive towed it with a ford ranger v-6,, 3.0L with no problems and also had the bike in the bed at the same time. the ranger didnt have the horse power that the tacoma does so should be better,, the camper has electric breaks and im installing a electric break controller in the tacoma which will be easy, its got a plug under the dash i just plug the controller into..

    I would recommend getting a set of firestone riderite airsprings to help level out the load. I find the Tacoma rear suspension to be a little too soft when loaded.

    thank you for the info,, the 2 other trucks i used for the bike and camper it did lower the back some...
