First post on here. I thought I'd share my experience in order to help other when negotiating there warranty at the dealer. After doing some fare amount of research on here, I'm still indifferent on the extended warranty.

This was the latest quote i was given after purchasing a 2016 DBL Cab LBD TRD 4x4 from Dolan Toyota.

-8/125 warranty best price is $1595

    - maint plan for $450 can be done but for only 36/35000, if you go for the terms I gave you (60/55000) it is 695,

all this prices are employee cost and i don't have ability to make them lower...

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I bought a discounted Toyota Platinum 8/100K for $1050 from Toby Rivers at Shreveport Lexus. He cannot sell them online anymore. But one can go there and get the same price. Another place to buy a SET VSC is http://fd-warranty.com/ Troy used to sell Toyota Platnium but now sells South East Toyota's Fidelity VSC at a discount.

I normally won't buy VSCs but for an 8/100K I know it will help tremendously in selling the truck down the line. If I trade I will get most of it back. IF I sell privately the buyer will get the equivalent of a 3/70K Bumper to bumper protection and thus pay more for the truck. Also allows for Rental car during the first three years when Toyota is covering. Either way I get a lot of my money back. Did this before but I ONLY buy hugely discounted VSCs. For the wife's CRV there is a Honda dealer in the NE that sells them at a discount I have used before but hers is a lease so no VSC.

That was a $2300 VSC at my dealer. I would not pay that much

Midwest Toyota sells them ay a huge discount as well Jerry is the guys name but you have to go there to buy it as well. Its a genuine Toyota Platnium VSC

    These were Tobys prices

Good morning Tom and thank you for the email. Here are a few plans and prices below.
    7 year 75000 = $680
    7 year 100000 = $950
    7 year 125000 = $1140
    8 year 75000 = $785
    8 year 100000 = $1050
    8 year 125000 = $1365
All are Toyota Platinum warranties with a ZERO deductible. These are good at any Toyota dealer in the US.

Most warranties run in conjunction with the factory one so subtract the fac#s and that's what you are paying for

Anyone in Colorado get a good deal on an extended warranty? It seems all of the over the phone deals (out of state) are no longer offered.

Toyota Corporate stopped that a couple years ago, I think in 2014?

I think you can still buy a warranty through a dealer in your state, but you can't go outside the state.

Try Troy at FD He sells the only VSC sold in the SE (Hence my buying a genuine TFS VSC)
Fidelity is owned by the Moran Family who owns SE Toyota Distributorship. IT's the VSC the dealers around here offer. I preferrred the Toyota one so I went out of state,
