Here are some pics. bought some brass fittings that fit into the existing drain holes. Used a little plumbers tape to make a snug fit. I had to cut the drain tubes for a better fit.

Great idea. Heading to hardware store for some now!

Just installed mine. Literally took 30 mins or less. Not a great pic but was just a quick snap!

I got the same Feb 17-19 ship date. I ended up staying with the Revolver X2. I must say though after a run around with false information from BAK about the bed extender fitting and working with the slam latch system the customer service was less than helpful. I am sure I will be able to make it all work. I don't mean to sound sour because I am not. I am still happy with the great deal and my selection. Maybe the weather will be better at the end of February for the install because it would not be going on this weekend.

I just read every page of this thread (link below) and now I see why BAK has not been forthcoming with their customer service with me. They have big, big, bigger problems than my slam latch questions. It appears any type of the roll up cover G2, X2 have huge rail issues. I have to contact seller too much money to get what these guys are getting for service, answers and product. They are sending these guys out rolls of gasket and telling some to caulk corners. $800 and you have to engineer the rails yourself? I don't think so.

Drove around today with the windows down listening for squeaking rattling etc., didn't hear anything. My cover did seem to stick a bit the first night. I reinstalled everything to put some extra d rings on the mounting bolts and everything moves more smoothly. Could the squeaking be from misalignment?

The support rods seem to hang very loose. The clips to hold them on the rail are garbage. I would look at those.

Installed my Fibermax tonneau cover and power Pop n lock (PL8521) this weekend. Thanks to TW, I completely ignored the instructions for both installations and installed according to the knowledge shared in this forum. Both were easy to install with no issues. I used d-rings on all of the tonneau cover fails to give additional tie down points using the d-rings from the Army Surplus Warehouse. Overall I'm very happy with the tonneau cover and Pop n lock. Thanks @ramonortiz55 for all the work you did to set up this GB.

Nice Job man, waiting for them to ship mine. I got a question for ya. What did you do with the drain hoses, use a adapter to the smaller hole in the bed or drill it out? If you got a picture underneath the bed mat that would be awesome!!!!

For right now I just put the drain tubes underneath the bed mat. I plan to see how this option works. I'm hesitant to attach the drain tubes to the drain holes because you lose some floor space in the bed of the truck. Considering I have a short bed I wanted to keep the bed space open as much as possible.

That is true! I was reading up and they say you don't even need the drain tubes. You can put them on if you want or leave them off?!
