4" Pro Comp Lift Kit on 33s
Hey all! Made the mistake of putting the 4" Pro Comp drop diff lift on my 04 Taco. It's served me well the last 2 years for my needs, but everything is pretty well shot on it now. Had some new 4" lift leaf packs made up for the rear to replace the pro comp lift blocks and my old stock leafs that are beyond dead. The stock leafs sit basically flat instead of curved with the lift so see ya later blocks!!

So now I'm looking for suggestions on some new front coil overs to replace the pro comp shocks and my old stock coils. I'll still need my full 4" in the front to fit my 33.5 x 12.5 toyos. The pro comp kit has big blocks above the coil overs too so I'm not getting much travel out of the front. Maybe even less than stock :/ Wondering if it's possible to throw on some 3" lift coil overs with a smaller spacer block to get some more travel? Maybe some new uca's? Has anyone out there upgraded their front suspension on this kit? What did you go with and how does it work? Thanks for reading!

You don't need 4 inches of lift to fit 33s. You can fit 33s with no lift. With that saying it would be more beneifical to stay at 3 inches of lift or less.

Get rid of the drop bracket and get standard coilovers or extended travel, then uca's. Of your worried about travel.

He cant get rid of the DB the front crossmember gets cut out when going that route...

OP, if i was in your situation id prolly get some nice fox extended travel 3 inchers and got with a top plate spacer to get ya back to the 4 or so inches youre lookin for. Then id say some nice upper control arms would be a must at that point...
