So my rear all pro standard leafs and fox rrs just aren't cutting it. I have tried searching for decent reviews of this set up by total chaos, but I haven't had much luck:
    http://www.chaosfab.com/2005-2014-Tacoma-Off-Road-Suspension-Accessories.html
I was thinking this with either custom shock hoops that don't punch through the bed or some bamf shock relocation brackets.

So what do you guys think?

How do you use your truck? If your considering LT for your truck then skip this pack and get the DMZ SUA Kit. If your truck is never going to be LT then this looks like a great alternative. TC makes great stuff and I have run their products for years with great results.

I like to drive fast down forrest service roads, to get to technical trails. I probably won't go front LT because there isn't much desert up in the pnw to mob through, but you never know heh. For me it seems the Tacoma's suspension weak point is the rear, so a MT front with a MT/LT sua rear is a good match. I know TC has a good reputation, it's just hard finding feedback about this specific kit. Thanks for the comment!

Defines Engineering SUA kit also looks interesting. Similar price for a couple more inches of travel.

I have heard of so many people who install it then immediately try and sell it. Also heard it was pretty stiff. I was looking at it until I heard of the negative reviews.

Tends to be that you'll see people on here install the defined kit and ditch it for the DMZ kit.
I have seen one build with the total chaos set up... @Brosefff maybe he can chime in...

I've only read good review about he defined kit, but interested to hear what anyone has to say. I will eventually be getting the Defined, TC, or DMZ kit.

I carry 1-2 dirtbikes in my truck at least once a week, might I actually like the stiffer defined spring pack vs others? And then maybe get softer/ adjustable shocks to compensate when off-roading without much bed weight?
Interested to hear your specific complaints about the kit.

The kit would buck so bad. Even with the proper valving.also only pulled like 13" of travel. I'm now pulling 17" and the difference is HUGE with a real lt set up. Night and day

I think it comes down to application. If you intend to drive your truck hard through the whoops then the TC or Defined kit isn't for you. Do it right and do an LT leaf pack and bed cage. If you drive your truck easier and just want a bit more travel then the TC kit is a great option.

I'm running fox 2.5's and the TC sua kit with 10" icons and air bumps in the rear. Truck feels really balanced.. And 100x's better then the j66 pack. I get the feeling the TC sua wouldn't keep up with a Lt front end though .

Is SUA a good option for lots of travel with not much lift?

The problem I'm having is that I think the All Pro expos would be a good choice for me with a shackle flip and shock relocate, but all said and done I'd probably have 4-5" of lift in the rear. I'm running ORI struts up front and to get the truck close to level, the struts would have almost no down travel. I'm looking for a rear setup that has decent flex without jacking the rear end way high. My tires are only about 32" so I don't need hardly any lift for clearance.

I'm considering SUA but without bed cage. My truck is an overlanding type build so far.

I'd say do the dmz sua kit with his new under bed shock hoops. Or the TC sua with a custom deaver pack .. Either way make sure you are running hyd bumps

I don't see any shock hoops on DMZ's site. Would the DMZ kit pair well with the BAMF mounts? Also I hear that Archive Garage is working on a shock relocate prototype. Looking forward to that, the shackle flip is super nice!

A properly set up mid travel front end easily out performed my defined kit. It was garbage. If you're looking to go that route go TC all the way. But personally I'd go with the dmz kit. Their is a reason TC used it on their gazelle rally truck, even though it only has the +2 kit which is really just mid travel

If you're going dmz the shortest shock I would run is a 14" that will get you 15" or so of travel. But the bamf kit is good for max 12" shock. If you're going that route just use the TC kit, unless you plan on going bigger shocks later. Even then just do the bigger shocks now
