Just finished my lift. OME 885 with trim packer and spacers, deaver AAL with OME nitro charger shocks. 7 hours, didn't have to pull the UCA bolts, no vibrations or messed up traction control. so I have a spare set if anyone wants them. Tires and wheels come in sometime next week. Pics coming tomorrow.

Correct. That's the only bad part. However with the synthetic oil they say 10k mile oil changes but I'll do the first one before that and then at every 7k. I don't trust any dealer to remove the skid plate yet even tho it's too easy to screw up I see them doing so. Lol

I absolutely love it. The difference between the gear shift and transmission in my 2015 MT is night and day. It's so much smoother and the gear ratios seem to be perfect and I loved the 2015. Everything about the truck is more refined yet still holds over a lot of things from the previous generation. I haven't noticed any lack of power with the new engine and in fact think it might be faster once I do break it in and really get a chance to drive it. The interior has much less road/wind noise and the engine/exhaust actually sounds pretty sweet just stock. Had a Borla on my old truck and this sounds similar not as good and I'll still probably get one for the '16 also when they become available. So yeah I see no negatives yet I'll post anything I come across. But as of now it was totally worth the 5 month wait for the MT since I absolutely hated the automatic transmission I test drove.

Took a quick picture of the Tacoma this morning with the lift added.

it's a good thing my tires and wheels are their way, I found a piece of metal in my sidewall. Hoping it holds out until everything gets here!

I have 285 KO2's that rubbed a little bit after my 2" King Suspension/Total Chaos UCA lift. The install company cranked them up 1/2" more, added more camber..pushing the wheels farther forward, and then re-aligned...no more rub!

    Retired/Hobbyist old as f***
Am I the only one here that likes the stock TRD Sport grill. I know it is overbearing but looks much more classy than the SR5 or SR grills in my opinion. Maybe its because I am old. That is one of the reasons I bought this model. I guess I am really old school because I prefer chrome over black or painted. That goes for wheels and bumpers too. I would like to eventually replace my rear bumper for a SR5 chrome one.

Toyoguard - I see you are in Jax. I'm up in Fernandina. Did you install your lift or did you have a shop do it? Looking for a good installer. Thx!

Nope, just atrac and a rear locker. No push button start or fancy entry system either. Which are all things I didn't want anyways so it worked out great for me. I honestly cannot see a situation I'd ever get in where 4lo and A-TRAC would be any different than craw control.

I honestly forgot to measure before I started but will get some measurements today of where it's at now.

I seen other members getting the full 3" out of it with the 1/4" spacer and trim packer.
