Do you think Toyota will do like GM and come out with blacked out emblems, grilles, and rims next year?
These are a hot trend right now and would make a nice OEM option package. We can get some of this down here now from Southeast Toyota dealers called the XP or XSP package but not directly from Toyota factory.

They could do that, sure. It's hard to say though because what might be popular in our region around Jax, might not be popular elsewhere and vice versa. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Isn't that pretty much the SR package?

Looks like the SR just is the blacked out grill. From what I can tell by the crappy pictures found online through Google, it looks like the rims are silver, and the "Tacoma" badges are all chrome. Might be easier for Toyota to just let the after market do the mods vs. changing production lines.

    Black wheels are an option.

I think they will do more and have option when they can get their head above water and be able to have trucks sitting on dealer lots. They will have variety to get buyers in.
