Looking to add a 3" lift to my 2014 DCSB TRD Sport. Until I get more money, I'm going to keep my stock wheels and tires. I'm currently running 265/65/R17s.

I need recommendations for a lift. The truck is not going to be used for any heavy off-roading. I want something that looks good, rides likes the stock truck, and won't cause problems in the future. Not looking to take the cheap way out and cause future problems, but also can't spend $2K. Looking at the typical Bilsteins all the way around with an AAL in the rear. I'll also be adding a shell next week and have a couple of kayaks on it from time to time.

Any pictures of some trucks with a 3" lift and stock wheels/tires would be good. And yes, I have looked through a lot of searches.

Sorry, I have no picks right now..

I'm interested in pics of this as well. I almost bought 5100's but I didn't want to buy tires till my stock ones wear out. So I figured I would get the lift when I need tires but if it doesn't look too stupid with stock tires then I may get the lift this summer.

TRD Pro + ICON AAL = ~2" in front, 1/12" in rear. 1" rake.
Its Toyota parts, so no issues, its designed for the truck. Stock UCA's, alignment no problem, no shims needed for Taco lean. Handles better than stock. Shown with stock 265/65R17 wheels and tires which I'm not going to change. I have an extra set of stock rims that I interchange with winter tires. Runs good and fast on the big roads, and has extra clearance for trails. Also, I pull a horse trailer with it.

Funny, mine says the same thing plus all the money I've put into it so far. Then she complains that it sits high enough stock and my daughter won't be able to climb in it.

See my link below, 2.5" on stock rim and tires. If you comfortable with working on your own rig, I did my for $100 and over a 1000 miles on it later I have zero complaints about ride quality.

As far as I'm concerned, best bang for the buck is to get ahold of Headstrong Offroad and order a Bilstein/OME/Deavers kit. You're looking at VERY good components matched well, shipped free, and it's results are proven.

I did the 5100's, OME 885X's (2-1/2"lift on their own) have the struts assembled by Headstrong, and the 2" Deavers AAL. I used a 1/2" home made poly spacer instead of the 1/4" spacer supplied with the kit. That's what it took to get level (Taco lean) on my truck. I ended up with 2-3/4" of lift from stock on the front. 2" Deavers AAL adds a little beef to the rear leaf springs. Also raised the rear 2"....which is just barely level with the front (with 885's) If you want a true 3", go with OME 887X's....and most likely you'll have to change out the stock UCA's. I got excellent alignment numbers with stock UCA's and the 885X's. Just had my alignment checked again today....spot on!

I LOVE the ride (compared to stock TRD OR coils and stock shocks) The look is exactly what I was after, and the performance is great....I hooked up a vintage airstream camper I'm buying this morning, and towed it about 10 miles. The Deavers AAL gave me just enough added load carrying ability to handle the campre just fine. It squatted the rear about 3/4", which was totally acceptable.

The Bilstein/OME/Deavers kit was $733 to my door from Headstrong Offroad. Call Marie and she can give you all the facts on what is available. Very helpful, very knowledgable, and the best prices....Tough act to beat!

Just curious how you made out with your alignment, and whether you had any drive line vibes? Did you reshim the rear springs using the new drive line angles or was it ok?
