My Aunt looked at one for my Uncle, but the LGS said they sent a lot back to taurus because of function issues.

Agree, most brands have no issue. The only one I stay away from is Tulammo because it's steel core and a lot of ranges where I shoot don't allow steel ammo. This used to be a problem with Wolf too when it was made in Russia.

Went to get my Glock 27 last Friday... Filled out all the paperwork and for whatever reason, I got a delay on my background check.

Didn't get resolved after 3 days, so I was able to pick it up last night after work.

Field stripped it, flipped the mag release for lefties, added the M beavertail/backstrap, and added 2 Pearce grips (one is +2, the other is just a pinky extension).

Ordered a box of 50 Speer Gold Dot 180 gr and another box of 50 Gold Dots in 165 gr. I bought a 200 round box of Winchester WB fmjs to take to the range this weekend for $62 at Bass Pro last weekend.

Also ordered a pair of GAP floor plates for the other mag. Going to take them all to the range and see which I prefer. Think I am going to like the Pearce grip +0 best, but for concealability I think the GAP plates are going to be best.

Range report on the P227. Ran 350 rounds of Prvi and Magtech through it, zero failures. The ratings on both are 835fps but the Magtech is definitely snappier. Handles identical to my 226 except a stiffer spring and a bigger punch. Sig just knocked it out of the park with their their P series. This is going to be a hoot with the Octane on it. That should be here around May.

AAC is such a bitch to deal with warranty.

Awesome. I have decided to not go with AAC because of people saying the customer service has gone downhill.

I own both AAC and SilencerCo...I wont buy AAC again. They were a great company prior to The Freedom Group buying them and firing/having most of the original guys leave. Which really shows as every eyar companies are releasing new designs while AAC has decided to stick with designs that are years old at this point. Dont get me wrong they still work just fine but they arent working to improve designs or anything.

SilencerCo on the other hand is developing news thing AND more importantly fighting for our rights in the NFA world.

So I bought a curve. Ran a couple rounds through it. I'll post more when I take it to the range and run more through it. Feels great in the hand and very comfortable to carry. You can't even tell its there, so printing isn't an issue at all. I understand it's not precise and what not, but for what it is, its great.

Would definitely like to hear a real-world review. 380s get badmouthed but they have their place.

Yeah. I like it better than my VP9 and M&P9. I like it less than my Steyr M9-A1 and G19.
