[SOLVED] Howling noise between 35-45 Not really:annoyed:
First the work put in was very good. I taped up my control arms exactly as shown.
I still have the same awful wind noise. It comes from between the cab and the bed.
I have a 2016 TRD off road access cab. Help

Different issue. Others have torn the back seats out and insulated that area. There are vents back there. Yours could be stuck open. The only way to check is stuff some fiberglass or foam between the truck and the cab over the vents. We did that to solve our sound but it didn't help.

Plugging the LCA worked for the 20+ people we had with this specific issue. We communicated off the forum to avoid the "forum noise" and other noise issues such as yours..

Problem is solved. Only sounds are normal expected wind noise. The "pitched" howl is gone.

That was my only complaint. But I am still going to test drive the Ridgeline when it comes out. But I am sure the TOL model will be close to $40K.

My limit for a pick up truck is $33K which is why I made the choice between either the Premium and Tech with JBL or 4WD. I figured I would use the P&T JBL far far more than 4WD. So far I made the right choice.

No.... I Have the Sport scoop so the hood does not flex as much if at all. It's heavier than the regular hoods Would love some struts....

Thankfully I don't have the 2K vibes either. I am taking it in next week to replace the left rear seal around the window (and check the trans fluid which I will pay for)

HA Funny stuff..... I am curious about the Honda though. Might be a good answer to a pickup truck with SUV qualities.

Do you have the rubber seals between the cab and the bed? There are there to help divert the wind noise. Check your cab vents in the back and see if their sealing.

I have a drive line whine that is related to the gas.

It happens as low as 15 mph.

    Oh well.

My neighbor's new Tacoma Sport also had a driveline/rear end whine, but his was in 50 mph range.

The Honda Ridgeline looks like an Odyssey that has been chopped (from the side). Freaking ugly. Can't believe you would even consider one over your Taco.

It's almost certainly based on the same platform, i.e. minivan converted to a pickup.

I pkuged all the homes in mine, drilled a hole in the larger of the bottom caps... The above listed sizes wouldn't work for the top holes in mine. I ended having to leave those empty, and stick them in the slightly larger holes on the bottom.

I think the the hole drilled I'll be good on water. I'll leave the top hole so I can stick a hose in there if needed.

I still am entertaining the expandafoam idea
