While that is "possible" it is still highly unlikely and even more so if you use Loctight on your bolts and torque them properly.

Fully agree but "possible" has left more than one person stranded.

Anyway, just put it out there as a FWI and something to think about.

I have the same setup, day 5. I'm noticing that as the front settles, the truck is starting to lose the rear rake.

I'm going to give it another week or so to see how everything settles. I also noticed at 200 miles that my driver front tire is already showing some light wear on the edge of the treads, which didn't occur on my last two lifted Tacoma's with All Terrains. I took it back to the shop yesterday where I was told alignment is in specs and nothing is wrong. Anyone else have this experience?

Finished my lift early this morning. OME 885 springs with OME nitro charger shocks on all four corners, trim packer, 1/4 inch spacers on the top, and deaver AAL.

When I did the front I was prepared to cut the stock bolts out for the UCA, but we didn't even have to mess with them. we dropped the LCA, and pulled the suspension out from the bottom. So if anyone needs UCA bolts, I have an extra set lol.

But the only reason to cut the UCA bolt is if you are actually replacing the UCA. If you're just installing new coil overs, you just have to break the ball joint free.

I thought people were actually taking them off to replace the shock/spring. I was a little confused.

I do have intentions of getting aftermarket UCA's, but the extra funds aren't there at the moment with saving for vacation.

If I make an adjustment in the front, lifting another 1/2", will I need to get another alignment?

-I think I know the answer... Just being optimistic.

Yeah. But it should be fine to drive a little without it. Definitely let the springs settle some more too

I need all of your expertise. Debating what suspension should I go with. I will be SOLELY a weekend warrior hitting the ocassional offroad and hitting the sand to go to some surf spots. The toytec lift with the full 2.5 coils, 2'' AAL, rear shocks with reservoir and TOtal chaos UCA will be at $2200 with their coupon code or go with the TOP OF THE LINE kings for $3,000? As stated I'm not going to be doing too much extreme off roading. But I plan on going to some off roading meet ups in Hawaii.

Inputs or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

For $800 more, I'd go top of the line. That said, I may be biased as I bought the exact same kit 3 weeks ago

Yeah your right but I feel like I'll never use it to its full potential but it was cheaper buying separate parts.

Did you mount yours yet? If so can I see how it looks?

I'll likely never push my suspension to its full capability, but it's nice to know I could. At least I know it's not a limiting factor.
