I have a 2015 MGDCSB and I'm about to lift it which I'm pumped about! Also thinking of installing the toyota roof rack? Would it be ideal to Haul a 12.5 ft Emotion mojo angler and a 10 foot sundolphin angler on that rack? Seems like it wouldn't be that stable at highway speed?

if you haul your kayak alot you may want to look at some front tie downs. i saw a set of straps that use the fender bolt when you open your hood. one on each side with a "d" ring. strap goes in the gap between the hood and the fender, when not in use it lays down in the engine bay. i think "rei" has them, also a good paddle sports store. super nice, i'm going to get some myself. i'll post when i find them.yes "rei" has them,$7.00,no "D" ring, just a loop. i heard they work great, a must to tie down the front of a kayak or canoe.

image.jpg I haul around a 13.5' Wilderness Systems all the time. I use a Malone roof rack that secures the kayak very well. The kayak is very wide tho, so when it is on the rack laying flat and secure it spans about 3' on center.
