These came in by PM... colour matched amber to be on with headlights  I completely forgot to take a photo showing the colour matched green when I had it in so if one of you guys with the green wouldn't mind it would be much appreciated!

I also want to give a big thank you! I received my kit a while ago but got around to installing them last week while my truck was in the shop . The quality appears fantastic and honestly some of the best directions I've ever used for anything! The only change I'll be making is adding a plug under the trim panel to disconnect for the next time the mirror(s) need to be removed. All and all I'm very satisfied with my purchase, thanks again!

Hi, first post in a while. I've been checking out TW for years now. Just signed a contract to work in Montana and I need to get my truck winter ready.

Was hoping I could order the following:

    1) Switch position in the mirror adjust spot (New switch style)
    2) 15 Mins
    3) Color - amber ('09 Tacoma)
    4) US

    Let me know. Thanks

They should be quite handy in Montana... Although I've also sent a few kits out to Florida too. I just sent a PM over with some details, thanks for ordering!

Access Original Tonneau Cover; Toyota Side Tube Steps; Focal ISS690 front speakers; Clarion XC1410 mini amp; Gentex 453 rearview mirror with Homelink, Compass, Temp and Autodim; Prodigy P2 trailer brake controller, Heated Seats from www.cobraheat.com, BriteAss Fogs, Phillips Extreme LED H/L. Heated mirrors from @Up2NoGood. 5100 Bilstein all four corners.
My results are as follows: Why didn't Toyota put this in the trucks? These are amazing (no, I'm not paid to critique the product) and work very well. I've used them several times over the last few weeks and although only one really frost day, I get a lot of dew and they clear that off just as well. Makes me even lazier than before because I don't have to wipe the mirror of dew too. :) Oxy moronic phrase there, maybe I should've said moisture. I'm just glad Jaimes got the new design for us without blanks worked out. Now all he needs to do is change his handle, because these are "2Good"!

Glad you are putting the kit to good use already  It is a bit crazy that this wasn't a standard feature or at minimum an option for the 2nd gens.

    PS
I'll have your positive review payment in the mail shortly

I was one of the earlier adopters of these mirrors and halfway through the first winter with them and I am so happy that I pulled the trigger on this mod. I used to keep a bottle of Rain X deicer in the truck at all times to deal with the ice build up on the mirror but no more. Now there is never an issue with ice or condensation....GOD SEND!!! My only gripe, and it's not that big a deal, is that being an early adopter I ended up with the wiper defrost button which looks little odd but a minor inconvince and certainly not ruining the joy this simple mod brings.

To anyone still on the fence do yourself a favour and pull the trigger. For those who think the install may be beyond your abilities it's worth mentioning that the detailed instructions are very simple to follow and you'll be surprised at what you will be able to do!

    Keep up the great work!!!!

Ahhh im jealous of that built in mirror switch with backlight. I use mine a few times a week - well worth it!

Glad to hear you guys are making good use go your kits. The new kit is pretty nice, especially if you have no switch blanks available. At the end of the day all 3 kits do the same thing, just a change in what switch gets used and how it all gets wired up. It's certainly been useful up here in Canada!

I've had my kit in for a couple weeks now, and have nothing but good things to say about it!

...except that it's been so warm since it went in that I've only been able to use it once to clear the mirrors! Haha.

Cool, I hope you enjoy it!

Awesome, glad that you like it! It's warmed up over here too.... Haven't had to blast any frost for a week or so.

Right on, it's nice once you don't have to worry about it... Just press the button and let the mirrors clear themselves. You've been pretty busy on the truck lately, it looks like it is coming together very well!
