Has some fun melting Craigs truck today. Also finally got around to picking up the bender. Put it to use the first hour brought it home, straightened out Craigs crossmember for the budbuilt skids. Then we did a turtle dance.

A couple of them actually. One for the taco and one for the runner. Plus I have a few side jobs to build some shit for a couple people. Can never have too many tools

Fixed the cracks where the spare tire carrier mounts to the swing out? Didn't you do that already?

Ahh. I've thought about doing that as well.

It's too bad they're bolts and not actual studs. It would be nice if they were pressed in like on a hub

Agreed. this was the next best thing. Like it wasn't hard enough to take the damn 35 off anyway...

You can get them at auto parts stores, the problem is that I don't think they would fit in the holes that are drilled for the bolts.

Actually now I'm wondering if maybe they will.... Guess I'll have to pick some up. Been meaning to ever since I saw ant lose a wheel on the interstate.

Finished my compressor install this weekend. Made up a 220V extension cord.
    7E974824-DCC5-4068-B13F-DEBD0738C2B2_zps_cd8bb438f8dc2b8556005628aaae54bbb078249c.jpg

Ran a 30 amp 230V line into the garage next to the welding receptacle.
    91378566-DE0D-4E8C-BED4-21855FCBA340_zps_02d26eb64979b93f91e8d28963c978bc73188acf.jpg

Replaced the petcock with a nice ball style drain valve with some tygon toobing so I can blow it down into a bucket or outside
    0EC2F6B5-96A0-4175-9D1D-777BCF0B5C25_zps_c7fca0e10061b332ce08aa3e533ad1e2390d18d7.jpg

Manifold is split into 4 different sections with several isolation valves. I probably over engineered the crap out of it but oh well haha. 1 section has 175 psi directly from the compressor, 1 has a regulated line I can set to whatever range I would need, the 3rd section is tapped off downstream of a filter/regulator assembly for dry air for the plasma cutter set to 90 psi, and the 4th is downstream of the lubricator for the air tools.

Testing the plasma cutter, we are in business now. Cuts through 1/4" steel like butter.

Then Josh stopped by to drop off a soft topper and while we were BSing decided to make him some light hoops for his bumper. Just need to be trimmed and notched, they will be very similar to mine.

thanks again buddy!! can't wait to get them fitted and welded up. gonna be nice the next time i'm at rausch on some narrow ass trail and won't have to worry about slamming a headlight into a tree.

it was 1.5" tubing, what thickness? I'll be sure to grab some more from fazzios next time i'm there.
