I am looking for a pretty specific truck, and most dealers refer to it as a unicorn and almost impossible to find. I am looking for a 2016 SR5 double cab long bed V6 4WD. When I search through cars.com, auto trader, or toyota they never specify bed length. Does anybody have a method for finding a specific truck. I live in Denver and am willing to fly within a reasonable distance to pick up this build if I can find it.

Scott, I shopped extensively between Auto Nation, Boulder Toyota and Stevenson. I ended up going to Mountain States Toyota- no dealer handling and they beat all three dealership I visited to by at least $1500. Give them a shot and do your research since there are many variation to the models.. SR 5, Sport, OR or Limited.

I have a Barcelona red TRD off road long bed without Tech package coming in a few weeks. I had a Airman order it 4 months ago but got orders sooner than he expected so bought a in stock short bed. I'm in louisiana

It's not a SR5, but probably one of a very few long bed double cabs

Automation Toyota on Arapahoe tried to bait and switch me. They are also wildly incompetent. But I'm sure they won't miss my money, the masses seem to flock there

Looked at a dark grey longbed 4X4 V6 SR5 today at one of the local dealers so it doesn't seem to be too much of a unicorn. Why not just order it from a local dealership and quit worrying about searching and travelling? Seems to me given its size, Denver has to have more than one Toyota dealership. We have five here and I routinely check their onhand inventory while I patiently wait for my ordered truck to arrive (DCLB Off Road in Quicksand).
