    Mom's good, getting stronger, braver, venturing out without a cane now.
    Quilt is coming along good. I'm about 2/3 through making the half blocks. Next I'll have to clear enough floor space to lay everything out for the final arrangement and start joining the halves into whole blocks. There will be 256 whole blocks in the finished quilt. I figure I'm maybe 20% done overall, after a month.

    :anonymous: yup, still with the roots. Third stump is out of the hole. digging out the bigger roots. Have two more to go. Burned about half stump #4. Need more wood to help the stump along. I'm getting there.... If the aches and pains would go away and stay away, I'd have been done by now :oops: :(

    :yay: for mom doing better. So she should be good by spring for camping then?

    No mooses :( lots of elk, deer and buffalo though. Also, buffalo do not like the snowplow! :laugh: I followed a plow into the park (road was dry, just making sure no drifts or icy spots further up were an issue) and whenever there was a group of buffalo on the road slowing things down the driver would drop the blade and scare them :laugh: big steel blade makes a hell of a noise on dry pavement. Now if they could only do that in summer...
