What have you done to your truck lately
Finally got my road shower installed and went camping with it. One problem
The radiator cap popped open and lost my water in the tank. Anybody else had this problem?

Sometimes you may think it was locked all the way, but I push down and turn and it And it locks down with another quarter turn. When I pressurized mine one time the cap came loose on one side. I noticed I didn't have it fully turned and locked down.

Those of you that participated in the GB, how do you like the Road Shower? I'm looking at possibly getting one, but wanted to get some real life reviews from some guys on here.

I really like it, I have discovered it is soo much more useful that I initially thought, on top of showering and rinsing off the pups on hot weekends at the lake, I have found during the cold season it is perfect for rinsing washed dishes off, good drinking water for my pups and water gun fights, or dousing the morning campfire. You don't realize just how much water is in there either, I have yet to spent a weekend out and run out of water in it.

Edit: Do any of you guys keep yours mounted? I have been mounting it up when I plan to go camping, otherwise its in storage. I have been considering just mounting it up and leaving it tho

Thanks man. Any feedback on water temperature? How well does the sun actually heat the water and does it go cold pretty quickly after the sun goes down or if outside temps drop?

If your not careful it can get boiling. I typically let it cool off a little, sun go down, depending on the night temps. It all depends on how hot and sunny the weather is. If the temp is going to drop after the sun goes down it'll get cold rather quick, but a hot summer days, it remains warm. On cold nights it actually feels real nice, till you gotta dry off. Direct sunlight on a winter day, it gets warm, not hot like a home shower but more than warm enough for a nice rinse.

Last question for ya'll. How often do you find yourselves needing to pressurize it per fill up? Is pressurizing it once sufficient to pump out all the water in the tank, or is it a repeated process? Just wondering if I need to take a bike pump or small compressor with me. Also, I just pre-ordered the roadshower 2! Stoked to have this in the setup.

So you pulled the trigger and ordered, great. Well I've used mine quite often. If you feel the tank with water to its fullest capacity, then there isn't much room for pressurized air so you will have to re-pressurize, but it doesn't take long to pressurize the tank. If the tank is like 1/2 or 3/4 full the pressure last a long time, enough to take a shower and then some. I recommend getting a portable air compressor instead of a bike pump, unless you have arms like popeye...... Also there are videos on RS2 website that shows how long a pressurized tank last. I personally have talked to the owner and his videos are legit, no tricks of any kind. Hope you enjoy your RS2 as I have..... See you on the trails.......

Thanks for the info man. I have a little portable compressor which should do the trick. It can inflate my tires, so I'm sure its enough. See you out there:thumbsup:

I have to presureize it every time I go to use it, wheeling causes constant change in elevation same with air within the tube, its constantly expanding or contracting. Be sure you pack a bike pump and keep it handy for regular use of the shower. I keep my pump in my door pocket on the side I mount the shower

You will really like having it, high price point but I use it a lot. If you live on beach you will get even more use out of it than I
