Thanks for the name...I'll have to look it up to see where it is in relation to my In-laws. Good to here about the tent. Didn't know how much it weighed...if it threw off the balance and made your 4Runner top heavy. How about on the freeway...much wind resistance? Did it cost you to lose fuel milage?? Thank you Sir.

Oooooh how cool!! Thank you very much. Great pictures...looks like y'all had a Hoot!! I didn't even know TW got together like this. I'm going to have to keep up on this. Maybe one of these times I'll be able to go. Thanks again for the Link/Pictures!

Awesome! You're very welcome...happy everything worked out. Glad

    I could help out!!
somebody got a new toy!! That looks better than I thought it would. So can you have that mounted and also have a tent on the roof too?? That would be the ticket!! Look great...and a great price!

That's it...get him girl!! I thought everyone was talking about meeting up with Lisa in Montana for a 3-4 day trail ride. Driving through a bunch of states and National Parks?? Did I miss something??

Hey guys....we hit 300 pages of just good old BS!! I think that's quit a monumental moment!! WooHoo...an adaboy for the team.

Then we have to deal with salt if we wanna play in the snow. On the West Coast there's no salt. Also I don't know that I wanna follow you on the beach. Don't wanna end up in the ocean :p

Definitely a lot closer for me! I have a ton of stuff to still buy if I'm really going to be able to go. I need a bunch of camping gear...mainly a tent and a refrigerator!

One close call and that's all anyone remembers :annoyed: hahaha. The sad part is that all that water had come in threw and around the hotel we were staying at. I'd hate to think what would've happened if there wasn't a building in between.

I really really really really really want a roof top tent but unfortunately (fortunately for my wallet) there's not many campgrounds worth using a roof top tent. Most have parking spots with a tent space hidden behind some brush.

Hey John I know you were asking about Savage. I personally went with Shrockworks...but before I did I was orginally look at this guy. Unfortunately he graduated and stopped selling when I was ready to buy. But I guess he's set up shop and back in business. Never heard or saw any negative post. He's doing a GB now. Makes a front skid that just goes back to just covers our steering rack. Great price! The rack cover skid only $200...full coverage is $350. He got some add ons like he'll cut in a design of your choice into your front skid. Anyway just thought I'd let you know he was another option. Good luck...

I'm signed up for a full set of these. Hopefully I'll be willing to bite the bullet come March 1st. I don't see anyone who can come even close to beating his pricing considering his full set is $50 more than Savage's front. If I'm not ready for the $250 deposit come March 1, I'll opt for just the front skid at $200 and worry about the rest at a later date.

If you want to see that, you're much better off hitting the Eastern Shore around the Assateague and Chincoteague area. I really want to plan a late spring/early summer to go watch since I have yet to witness this.

I'd be game for this as well. Coronva or something like that correct?

We go drive on the beach in Wilmington all the time. From what I hear obx had miles of beach driving.

Thanks for the heads up. I was debating between rci and savage. With shipping looked to be within $20 or so so I ordered the savage one. Also trying to get it before the next trip I have planned.
