Whats the weight difference BTW aluminum and steel rear bumpers?.. I want armor but my truck still has to go 70-90mph for rescues

It helps that I had that conversation with Eddy like a month ago when my dad ordered all his stuff.

I'm not sure but aluminum is lighter than stock with the tow package and steel is maybe 10-20lbs heavier. As much as I want to sell you an aluminum because it's the most expensive but it's not worth the extra for a rear bumper. And that's being realistic

Personally I think the Steel rear bumper is slightly lighter than the factory bumper with the hitch ? It's not enough difference in weigh that you would notice it.

alum front vs steel front is a different story, not sure of the difference, but it has to be substantial. I like the thought of an alum front with the steel rear.

For the front I wouldn't go any other way but aluminum , people can say all they want about aluminum bumpers but I have seen first hand how tough my front bumper is. If you can hit a deer running 60+ mph & not dent it , it's pretty tough

Yeah I'd go alum for the front unless you've got heavy coils
