Camelback Toyota Discount for TW Members!!!!

I called camelback Toyota a few hours ago and ended up getting hung up on by the parts department

 

anyone know what's up? I've PMd Happytohelp, Gunny, and Jorge and nothing...

Guess I'll go to the locals and see if they'll get close on mudguard price...

 

I gave up on these guys long ago. Do an online search for parts and there will be places that pop up that are as cheap or cheaper.

 

Wow, Olathetoyota website is so much easier to navigate. Paid about $12 more for mudguards and mounting hardware. But at least I was able to order them...

 

All I wanted to order was the weatherstripping for the drivers front door that's attached to the body, and they want to charge me $8.00 freight, and then another $3.00 handling fee, I think that's bs

hmmm....sounds a little unhappy in here lately.

 

Just a little nervous......mainly because I dropped $300+ on parts from a "trusted" vendor and there is no communication from them after they received the funds.

I'm sure it's all good and they won't screw me over, but when you're dealing with forums and Internet purchases....communication is key.

 

I need a passenger side mirror for a sr5. The whole mirror and cover. Can I have a quote? Thanks

 

Just spoke with Khristal directly and got the info I needed. She is taking over the position and has been really busy and does apologize for no replies recently. I have tracking for my parts and am looking forward to getting them.

With that said, I take all of the comments I made back. Bear with @Happy2Help sounds like she is picking up where someone left off.

Ahhh, i don't miss working at a dealership. turn over rate is too high. I do miss the "cost+10%" we used to get on toyota parts.

 

what are the prices like for maintenance parts? their oil filter is pretty cheap compared to how much my friend gets his for and he works at a dealership.
