My 2014 Tacoma DCLB is going to be under the knife these next couple weeks! Super stoked to get this build started.

Love those Stealth F5 wheels. I'm planning on getting a set of those in bronze sometime soon.

What suspension are you going to run?

 

Fox 2.5 DSC in the front and 2.5 piggybacks in the rear with bumps.

What tires do you plan on running when it comes to 35s?

 

Nitro trail grapplers or toyo MT's

 

I wasnt impressed with the trail grapplers seeing them side by side with a ko2 today at a dealership. The ko2 had more tread depth/lug patgern and side lugs.

Just some info if you havent looked.

Go MTR's you won't regret it

 

Camburg UCA's and Deaver leafs showed up Friday. Thinking I'm going to go with the BFG Ko'2's... Maybe switch to a more aggressive tire down the road. Thoughts? Let me know what tires you chose and why.

Goodyear MTR with Kevlar just cause they look aggressive as hell and look cool

 

Hands down the best tire I've had off road. They are louder but so is every MT tire. Best in snow, best in rocks, very good on road, airs down well, has Kevlar, lighter weight. Plus they just look the best

 

Well This week has been pretty awesome/pretty expensive haha. Just ordered Pelfreybilt Offroad front plate aluminum bumper, rear high clearance with tire carrier/table/Rotopax mount, Sliders, and skids everything will be powdercoated to match the silver of my truck. Unfortunately they are 14 weeks out :/ Should be worth the wait though. Also pulled the trigger on some BFG Ko2's in 315/75/r16. Hopefully will be able to tear into the truck this next week and start getting things installed. Looking to do gears and lockers here shortly.

 

That was fast Perfect choice with Pelfrey though for sure, definitely worth the wait!!
