Holy moly. My brakes are feeling pretty tired after driving this little loop just now. It is so fun! Very twisty with some tight switchbacks. I want to run it in a sports car so bad. Might have to bring up the Z3 from home sometime and do it, along with more routes I plan to find in the area.

That's a beautiful area. I used to go deer hunting with my grandfather in that area about half way between Rudy/Figure 5 and devils den. Basically my old stomping grounds. Grandfather was a mail carrier in that area for 30 plus years.

If you bring the Z3 take the Pig Trail too. I used to have a Lexus SC300 with a few minor mods and the first time I took it on this route I had to buy new tires from hard cornering any time I was able to. It was a blast though.

Is Pig Trail open again yet? I thought they'd closed it for landslide problems

I'm not sure. I haven't been to that area in a while and now that I don't have a sports car I don't keep up with the the fun/scenic drives like I used to.

That would be a fun loop! I love Devil's Den! The switch backs to the south are crazy fun coming down them on a mountain bike!

Oh yeah I believe it! It was crazy fun in my heavy truck, would be even better in any type of vehicle aside from a bus. Haha
