So some f-ing squirrel decided to move in this weekend while I was away. The truck still runs okay but it looks like there is a vacuum leak and some wires that are destroyed. The air box has some teeth marks as well and there are some broken clips. Any ideas what might be missing? I cannot remember if that wire harness was connected to anything...

Repair any obvious breaks or possible breaks or shorts, hope for the best. Any codes, check that curcuit . Dang critters suck at times!

mix PineSol 50/50 with water and spray down everything under the hood and into cowling area. it keeps most critters (including wasps) from moving in under there.

also helps the outside air coming in smell better

    lol....in my experience
pine sol doesn't do a thing for rodents...smells like pine ? protip: many squirrels live in pine trees.

what DOES work is powdering around the inside with red chile pepper powder

don't need a ton but lay some down dust it around rodents won't come back
    they dislike it mightily

I've got a vehicle that's sits in the barn all year. I had Mickey problems until I installed one of these. Since then no sign of them. Don't think they like the noise. Got it mounted under the hood with the hood open.

That unconnected harness is for the cruise control actuator. All trucks are pre-wired for CC whether it came equipped with it or not.
