@Bluegrass Taco - I'm thinking about getting the Dever AAL's or the Headstrong 3 leaf AAL's, OME 884 coils and 1/4" lean eliminating spacer (I already have the 5100's.)

Let me know how your install goes and give me any installation tips that would make my life easier. Thanks.

    Good Morning Folks! :)

That's a great set up! Sounds like a fun day off too. Congrats on the lift. I purchased my front shocks and springs from Marie and she was pleasant to deal with.

    Same as everybody else...
It's a different world now, political ads on tv now talk about regulating ammo sales like guns. Anyway I ain't gonna get political. I remember in high school it wasn't unusual to see a pickup in the student parking lot with a shotgun in a gun rack. It was a great time to grow up.

Good morning everyone, 7 with windchill 10 below and still dropping. Got an inch of snow last night not enough to use the snowblower but still got to do something with it so need to go back out and start pushing so I can go to work. And haul the trash up to the road and hope the snowplow driver doesn't use it as a hockey puck.

Back when my youngest son shot Trap at the Mn. State shoot there were only a couple hundred kids 10 years ago. Last year 5,100 kids showed up from Mn. at the State shoot, the Scholastic Clay Target Program is one of the fastest growing activities for kids in the Country. And the fastest growing segment of hunters are females, more and more women are getting into hunting and fishing every year. Many States have special programs helping them to get started. I still have hope for the future....

image.jpg Speaking of projects I really liked the the Toyota wheel I had on my 04 Tacoma 4x4. I found a set and picked them up. There machined alloy with silver, and clear coat. There not the popular color black wheel that most up grades get, but I'm old school and love these wheels. Eventually il pick a tire and put new TPMS on the wheels.

Oh well....Sounded like a good plan.....

Woke up to 19 degrees, snow, and wind blowing. The truck was plastered with snow and ice. No way I was going to pull it into the shop and end up with melted snow all over the floor, then try to work in it. I'll wait until a better day. Got other things to do anyway...

Besides...My old legs wouldn't have liked spending the day crawling around on a cold floor.

    Good morning.

I agree that you should support local businesses, but the prices are sometimes too much (unless you can save on shipping). I now shop online for the best price and have a local shop install it for me. I previously have done all of the work on my truck but the last few items, shackle flip and alternator, were done by professionals. I give them the part and they install it within an hour for around $80. I am not sore or bleeding and I let them swear at the truck.

Better start doing some work on your own now. You know, if you stop using words, you'll forget them and your vocabulary will shrink. Wouldn't want that !

There are a couple 4wd shops in Louisville. I went to BOTH of them at least 3 times each, trying to get them to order parts for me. They weren't interested unless I was willing to let them grossly overcharge me to install parts too. One told me straight up they were not interested in "wasting their time" ordering parts.

    OK.....

I'm just fine with an internet dealer that'll save me money and get me what I want.

We had a lot of those, and most guys carried a Buck in a case on their belt.

Did you try to get SEO to price match, or come close?

I carried in my pocket. These days, school would go into lock down while four cops drug you out.
