Color Matched Grille

Considering many members plasti dip or perform a satoshie mod on their grille, I went with a different approach. I was initially just gonna paint the chrome trim, but ended up painting the entire grille. I really enjoy the look/edge it gives the truck. It's actually color coded to match the truck, so it keeps that "clean" look. What do you guys think?

 

Looks good. I've been wanting to color-match my chrome grill too, but I'll probably end up going the easy route and just buy a new one color-matched.

Well done. It still looks factory, yet just a little unique. That center section starts to look like ass after a while with the dull plastic. The paint solves that.

 

Yeah the dull plastic was looking a little rough, plus I had some chips and cracks in it. Ended up plastic welding them back. Now if I could get the bumper to match!

I had access to a paint shop's booth. So we mixed up the paint using Toyota's "code" for BSP.
