Hello everybody. New to the forum here. I have a 1996 Tacoma 3.4 Liter 4X4
My truck is pushing 270.000 miles and still runs great. I am currently replacing the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, tensioners, idler pulleys, valve cover gaskets, wires, plugs, new seals in power steering pump, new belts, etc..

Have it apart in my garage, tackling a little at a time as I have time.

Look forward to getting to know everybody.Tacoma.jpg

thanks guys! my project is taking me longer than expected. Busted a tooth off the crankshaft timing gear when trying to remove it to get to the crankshaft seal. Couldn't get the camshaft seals out. Chipped crankshaft pulley. ARRRGGG!!!! so many miles on this thing nothing is going easy. Makes me hesitant to go ahead and pull off everything to replace the valve cover gaskets too.
