The picture also looks a little funky in the post.. I looked for the toyotausa Instagram and saw that the picture they posted looked a little cleaner.. Looks like Autoblog either used a similar photo that maybe Toyota first created but realized the photoshop was a little off, or the posted a lower quality photo allowing you not to clearly see as much

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
I'm kinda new to this forum but it sure is great. My productivity at work has really gone in the toilet since I have been on here. I bought a 2016 a few weeks ago and have been doing a lot to it. I feel like i have some good info that I would like to share about all the things i have done, and of course want to show off my truck once i get the lift and tires done.

So the question: whats the best way to do one post to share all i have learned and have done? I see some people have a "build page" or something. Or do i just pick thread that makes sense and post?

    Somebody school me please.

I thought there was going to be a new 4Runner for 17, but it does look like a pro. Hopefully not diesel or I will be trading my 16'.

I have a 2013 with Toyo. I like the ride, the traction and they do not seem to show wear after 35K miles. Just bought a 2016 and i am going crazy trying to decide between BFG KO2 and TOYO open country AT II. Price diff is negligible. I decided to go with TOYO. Main reason: go with what you know. I know they have good ride, I know they are quiet on the highway, good traction off road, little wear. BFG may be just as good, but i can't get anyone to tell me why i should go BFG over TOYO. From what i hear they are so close in all things that matter that its a personal preference. I don't think your'e going to find any hard facts to steer you one way or another.

Anyway... Discount tire: 17in wheels and 285/70/17 Toyo out the door, tax, install, tire certificate (awesome deal you must do) all the crap, wheel and tires $1700.

thanks for your opinion. yeah leaning towards Toyo myself. I can't seem to locate toyo on discount tires website though. I was quoted $169 each mount and balanced for toyo p265/70/17

Toyo is not on their site. But very much available. My original build called for 16in wheels. I had Discount tire at $1500 out the door for 16in wheels, 285/75/16 Toyo. They will work with you on pricing. So work on them! Here's the wheels i'm getting: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fi...=MBMTKO&yr=2016&pc=47062&wd=16&rw=&vid=033080

FYI, 17in wheels in this style are CHEAPER than 16in.
