Just had my air pump replaced (Long story) on my 2015 DCLB w/factory installed supercharger with 6,000 miles currently on it.
Prior to replacing my air pump my afr gauge read 14.6 @ idle, now it reads 15.
What concerns me is that when the s/c was engaged (prior to install of air pump) I ran rich.
Now, when s/c is engaged, I start out running rich but then I go lean @ about 2500 rpm & 3 lbs. of boost.
To be honest, while I can recall the motor running rich when s/c was initiated before the install of the new air pump, I do not recall it ever going lean.
Does anyone w/a supercharger and an afr gauge have similar readings?
I was in the dealership (that installed the supercharger) having some work performed and asked if this was normal. They tested it and said the air/fuel parameters were normal. I just didn't get that good feeling they actually tested it on the road.

It should NEVER go that lean while hitting the gas.!! Mine is about 14.7-15 at idle and cruise. Then as soon as boost hits it's never above 12.5

Agreed. Sounds like something is seriously wrong. Most Toyota techs have not seen a try blower installed and likely they missed something when replacing your pump. Don't go into boost and take this thing to a dealer....my gut would be not the same one but they should warranty their work at least.

It is most likely your new air pump assembly replacement is introducing unwanted air while in boost which is causing your AFR to go to the 19/1 range. Regardless, that is stupid hot and you risk inploding the engine with those kind of lean mixtures.

I agree with the others. Take it back to the dealer. They probably fucked up on something during the install.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
During the install, they might had disconnected your battery. ECU might have to relearn your driving habits :notsure:
