Manual transmission Fan Club and BS thread (All Generations Welcome)

My '15 is an auto and it's fine. But coming from 30+ years of manuals I really miss rowing my own gears. Would love for my truck to be a 6-speed.

I hope so I ordered the 2016 with the 6 speed MT

 

I LOVE my 6 speed Baja BUT arthritis in back is giving me way to many issues.

i have a 5spd, love it. i am thinking about putting red paint down in the recess, any ideas? don't want to screw it up.

From my point of comfort i wish my front seat was like this. I would sacrifice the center console.

 

Yep, i'm 57 years old, and have ordered over 35 new cars in my life, have NEVER owned a manual and would love to say never will, but afraid the autonomous car rules and millenials will cause me to have no choice at some point....until then, the control, economy, safe driving through engagement and control, and FUN with the manual will always be my first wish. Just picked up my 3rd gen, and loving it.

The automatic in the offroad is better. There I said it.

I've owned 6 manual transmission vehicles so I'm fairly confident Inknow how to drive a manual. I test dove a 3rd gen sport 6mt and it was rough as hell. Currently own off road dcsb auto.

 

Thing I dislike about my auto is the thing won't shift when it's cold. I'll be driving around town @30mph @2500 rpm. And there is just times even when warm where it doesn't shift and I want to shift it lol.
