I love seeing the themes in peoples buying habits.

Tears in my eyes reading the last 2 pages though.

Guys, I have no idea if this helps or not but I'm willing to give it a shot. I've kept certain things of Mom's that mean something and bring me a sense of joy. Other things fell short of that mark or had little to no emotional value and those were quick to go. I took her many places in the current taco after leaving the Midwest (a day long flight) and landing 6.5 hours drive from her house, moved many of her things as we searched and eventually found the "right" place for her to finish up her business here and used it for a specific purpose that was also the key reason for the purchase to begin with: lots and lots of weekly 'turn and burn' 48 hour road trips home to AZ over the span of 3 years to visit her and be there for my sister during that time. I'm selling it not due to those memories but in fact to move forward with something that serves MY desires better and makes ME happy. It's time and that's important. So is she however I have to come first. That does not mean I don't miss her with all I am nor all I'll ever be. She's gone. I'm still here.

Came from my highly modified Honda Element. Some might not see the point to doing anything to these cars, but i liked it, and it was fun. 5spd, awd, lowered, Cragar wheels, painted Anvil (from a jeep), and a few other things tooimage.jpg
Got the tacoma to haul my bike around sometimes.

I had a 79 that was prepped for ITA/IT7, great cars to have fun with, but not that competitive in ITA. Glad they made IT7, but they did it after I got out, so I never got to enjoy. The one I had a picture of (posted on first page) was an 83 blk/blk GSL that I ran many different engine combos in, but it was kind of a street/show-car. I put engines like bridgeports, half-bridges, etc., and would drive the piss out of it until it would spin a bearing and then just rebuild and try some new porting :) ... fun cars, great way to learn how to turn wrenches.

It's different, but has character :) Shows you have an eye for style, even if it's not for everyone.

Sweet! I started in ITS till they moved us to ITA, due mostly to the Datsun's dominant inline 6 on the longer courses. Got lucky and made a friend who was a rotary genius and taught me everything he knew. He did the motors, trannys and ignition, I did the fab work, exhaust and suspension. Together we built cars 1-2 seconds per lap faster than the comp for about half their budget. Sure did piss a few folks off in the process. The RX3 beside me was another one of my builds and something I'd co-drive for the enduros. Was also lucky enough to score a job with Bob Bondurant where I could practice all day and get paid for it. We were very successful on a very local basis which really mattered to no one but I sure did have a blast.

Me too. But the taco is fulfilling my needs. The one I posted was my second Element too.
    This was my first..

You might win on number of vehicles haha. I had a period where i was changing cars every 6 months, and bikes every year. How did/do you like the grom? Im thinking about that as my second bike.. Or a supermoto. Not sure yet. But trying to sell my cafe racer project first

The grom is tons of fun but incredibly slow. But if it's not ur only bike that's a plus. easy and cheap to mod as well.
