Got some good ideas on my other Sun blocking post, so here is a new "Wish".
Years ago looking through a junk yard, I came across a big American car with interesting sun visors. They were designed to allow the front window and side window to be blocked at the same time! Kind of a double visor as I recall. I wish I'd paid more attention then, but just kind of thought it was interesting. Has anyone ever seen these and know where they come from? I have done a bit of web searching but must not be using the correct term.....

Did the old American car have a "child" visor that swung out from the main visor, or was the side visor mounted separately to the ceiling?

At first glance, you wouldn't really notice it was different from most. I recall it was left in the deployed mode, so it was something obvious. I recall folding it back up to stow it just to see how the thing worked. My guess is the car was a big Mercury or Lincoln, maybe a big Chrysler...? It was mounted at the normal top corner, but had 2 wings. 1 for the windshield and the 2nd for the side. Folded up, it was all up against the headliner in one place like a normal visor. I guess now that I am getting older, these things have more importance. Haven't ever seen one since., or maybe just never noticed.
