    They would work. My truck is still stock suspension and I don't need them as a step. But I can put my foot on it and do use it sometimes when getting out bc I don't like sliding off my seat or stepping on the door sills. Also I would suspect that they would be great for kids especially in the back seats of a DC bc of the kickouts. But I didn't buy them to use as steps.

    Who makes sliders that are really angled. I don't feel the need to use them as a step ever. The only ones I've ever seen that I liked where on this heep. I know the taco's door open lower but something that's hugs the body more will be ideal. Anyone know who makes some similar?

    You might check out RCI sliders. I'm not biased at all, but I hear they are pretty awesome (and usually in stock);)

    Oh and to the post above, our sliders are a 20 degree angle upward and sit about 3/8" from the pinch seam. Pretty high and tight, but still functional if you need a step to reach the roof or something
