I've searched and can't find anything. I have a 2008 Tacoma v6 auto 4x4, tranny is bad. I was wondering if the same tranny but from a 2012 will fit into my 2008? Please help! Thanks for any input!

Don't see why not. No drivetrain changes I can think of.

That's what I figured too, but I wanna be for sure before I buy it. So if there's anyone who has ever swapped it out or something that can confirm, then I'll go ahead and pull the trigger.

There may be some undocumented internal upgrades, but its the same model and direct plug-in replacement.
