Has anyone in this thread made a switch to toggle power of the back-up camera and wired it into the blanks? Was considering doing this down the road...

I know on the 2016 you can throw it in reverse while driving to do this. Scary but true

Anyone had any issues with the 35w's getting too hot? Looking to do this mod this weekend.

Anyone have issues with the bulb not fitting in? Purchased the Philips EcoAdvantage 30w=50w GY6.35 base, but it won't slide past the metal tabs.

Just put a pair of these in a couple weeks ago, really liking them so far.

From what I could find, a standard 921 makes 280 lumens, these make 800 and get most/all of it out the fixture (LEDs are in good places for the reflectors). Only possible weakness is that they don't spread as much laterally as I might like. Planning to put in some flush-mounts for trail use soon since I'm wiring up a bunch of other stuff anyway, but still happy with these LEDs.

I'm trying these now in my tacoma and the bulb falls out. It's not a tight fit. Did you do anything to make it work?
