    First I want my wheels and tires to stick out about and 1"-1 1/2" more then stock.
    I would love to get new wheels (FNx wheels) but with buying a new truck and other things I can't stomach another 1k
    What are your opinions?

    I thought wheel spacer is bad for tire? Doesnt it void some kind of warranty? I just wondering.

    Wheel spacers are technically not bad for your tires as long as the truck is aligned correctly. The problem you can possibly run into is wearing out your wheel bearings prematurely because the rotational weight of the wheel is now pushed outward compared to the way the factory designed it.

    I've always been confused why some say spacers are bad (for the reason you just said) but then add aftermarket rims with backspacing that pushes the wheels out anyways... (Also, the '17 Tacoma TRD Pro will have wheels pushed out farther than the rest of the factory rim selection. I don't remember if it was an inch on each side, or an inch total...)

    Aftermarket wheels can cause the same issue depending on wheel width, backspacing, weight distribution, etc.

    If i needed them to clear bigger tires on the UCA s then I would get them. Also I would get them for skinny tires and wheels with a 5 + backspace.

    Had 1" spidertrax spacers on my truck with 265/70-17 BFG Rugged Terrains. No issues with them, torqued when installing, torqued again after 500 miles, checked at each tire rotation. It made the truck look a little more agressive but I didnt notice any performance enhancements.

    I wonder if tire shops like Discount will void the certificates you bought if they see you're using spacers....any experience?

    Discount Tires is a pathetic joke... at least the three locations in my area are. They'll charge you the lifetime alignment, plus the extra modified suspension fee, and then give you a bunch of bullsh*t reasons why they can't do their job and align your truck with SPC UCA. Whereas $45 at a local mom n pop shop got it straight in under 30 minutes.

    Sorry, had to vent upon hearing their name. Back on topic, Yes, get spacers if tire and wheel setup warrants them for clearance issues.
