Did a comparison on brakes from my 2000 and 2006 tacoma 6 lug.

here's the pics. I compared every aspect of the calipers and they will fit. But I don't think they'll fit 15 inch rims. I know they worked with 16 inch rims on my 2006. in the last pic you can see the distance between the pistons is about 1/4-1/2 inch wider, this should make up for the height difference of the 2 rotors. the rotors are set closer to the front side of the rim, and are thicker.

the brake line threads are the exact same, only slightly offset. not a problem for a rubber hose.

I would like to ask someone to confirm this though. All you have to do is grab a caliper off a 2006 toyota tacoma pre-runner 2wd and fit it onto your backing plate to see if it officially fits and how a 15 inch wheel fits back on..
