Thanks but I have a 2015. The bar is new for 2016. I was talking to an ARE factory rep at an outdoor show and he said they a video for installers on how to seal the front corners. He said the same thing about 2016s. They remove the bar and seal it before replacing it.

My ARE Z-Series canopy showed up in 3weeks! So excited to have it on! Very happy with the fit and finish, I wish I would have done this sooner..

$300 craigslist special. I only use it occasionally to haul dive gear, so I didnt feel the need to drop 2 grand for a nice shell. Made a sweet setup in my garage with a harbor freight winch to hoist it on or off in a few seconds.

Use the ARE site and find the nearest dealer unless the one that originally sold to you was a bad one?

Hey guys, hows it going today. I just recently ordered an ARE CX shell with yakima tracks on top. I am hoping some of y'all can shed some light onto my question. I am wanting to put a cargo basket on top of the shell and would like to hear some good quality baskets. I have been eyeing some Rhino Racks and such but I'd like to hear some opinions before going through on it. Thanks.

ARE CX series and V series. I have the CX series. I would recommend getting the windoors especially with a LB.

Following up on my pictures a few posts up. I added an interior light that I picked up from an RV dealer for $10. It is activated when you open the glass by a courtesy light switch I got off Amazon. I wired it directly to the battery with a 5A inline fuse. To help avoid a dead battery in case of some malfunction with the switch, I swapped out the incandescent bulb for a warm-temp LED 1156 bulb that draws less than a watt. I normally don't keep the canopy on for more than a day or two anyway, so crisis averted. The interior light and brake light are connected to the truck using a 4-pin trailer plug. Figured this might help some people out who are looking to save part of the $200 that some dealers want for an interior light. Total cost to set this up was about $20, with the use of some scrap hardware and wire loom I had laying around.

Sounds a little lame, but I was thinking about wiring in an 'alarm' of some sort. Like I said above, I usually only use my canopy to store dive gear for a day or hauling stuff for the honey-do list. Maybe wiring in a cheap car horn/turn signal relay to be powered by the light circuit would chase someone off from a parking lot should they pop the glass open.
