I've met Eric, and have no doubts of his character or work ethic.

I'm really happy with my tailgate protector despite a long wait for it, and I recommend his product to everyone I know. Certainly a nice guy and nice product, not everyone has a smooth road to success, but he's on his way.

Thanks for sharing your experience James.
Those tailgate reinforcements are one of the parts that we'd wait on forever and ever from the other guys, after dialing in the part on my brake last month I knocked out a batch of them in a half day.... I would have waited on the other guys 2 weeks or more for turn around at many times.
At this point I expect to have bare reinforcements in stock and ready for shipping on a regular basis(example, had a order for 2 plates come in this morning, within a couple hours they were packed and labeled and out the door), and only those opting for power coat would be left waiting since we do not do that in-house.

I knew what I was getting into when I decided to order @RelentlessFab sliders. I haven't received mine so I can't say for sure but after speaking with Eric and Brittony numerous times, I really don't think I'm going to get screwed. Just put my second payment down on my sliders and was told straight up that the lead time would be four months. I'm expecting them around February and can report back. If I've learned anything on this site and in this build, it is that quality takes time and some things are worth the wait. If you want something extremely quick, then Relentless is not for you, but hey neither is BAMF because I think they have like a 2 month lead time as well. Not quite as long but like I said, every quality product takes time, Bamf, Pelfrey, Relentless, Bruteforce. None are a ship out the same day workshop. I am hoping that my wait is worth it. I'm pretty sure it will be. I get updates every now and then and they have been very straight up. It's a smaller operation than some of the other companies out there but I think that makes it pretty cool.

Like I said, I can't say for sure until I have those sliders in hand, but I just get a good feel from them. I'm normally okay at judging people's character.

I also just ordered a CB tail light mount from BAMF so I can report back experience with that when I get it! I don't really believe any of the majorly active vendors on here are trying to rip anybody off.

I have a lot of Relentless stuff and sure, some things I've had to wait a long time to get but other things showed up pretty quickly. However, the quality of Eric's work keeps me going back to him for other stuff. @SixthSnail I have Relentless sliders (there the ones on the Relentless web site!) and they are awesome. IMO the best design out there. You will be very happy when you get them on.

Dude I can't wait. I don't need them right away so the wait is actually helping me. Eric is letting me pay it off monthly for the 4 months. Let me spread out payments enough to get all the bells and whistles. Plus I gotta save up for linexing them and paying somebody to weld them on. Hopefully a family friend can haha.

Eric, Thank you for the apology and professional response. Very respectable. Congrats on getting married and best of luck to you, your family, and Relentless.

So it's February. Any update on your Relentless sliders? I'm now in the market for a set myself and in no hurry (of course I'm in a hurry. I wanted them yesterday. haha.) ok ok... I can execute patience to receive a quality product. I dig the Relentless style so I'm hoping all the bugs in their operations worked themselves out.

Well mine were on track to be finished this month. However...

    I sold my truck.

I called relentless and they have been awesome to work with. At first, I was just going to bite the 20% restocking fee and get my refund but they told me that they could just switch my order to sliders for my 4Runner. I was not sure what year I was getting so I put my order on hold for close to a month. Now I am quoted March since I just lifted the hold on my order.

Sliders for the T4R are actually cheaper so I got to add a top plate for close to the same price!

Solid. Sounds like they got it together and are executing efficiently. Congrats on the 4runner and thanks for responding.

I too am in this decision making process.

I am just waiting for more and more pictures to surface so I can see.

I think shipping wise though, with BAMF being very local to me, I could probably save a few hundred by going that route.
I'd much rather support either of these two companies as they are small/privately owned businesses busting their asses to make awesome products for us, so they can feed their families.

    Thanks!

All the fabricators on this site are pretty great. I've had parts made by @JLee at BAMF, @Socalduckslayer and Satin at @Pelfreybilt, Billy from Bruteforce Fab, and I will soon have some stuff from Eric and Brittony at @RelentlessFab.

All of them have been great to work with so far. This site has a cool group of business that it considers vendors.
