I'm currently running 885s (set at 0) on 5100s all around with and 1.5" rear block... But if I was to do it again, I'd go 887 on 5100s, AAL and UCA.

The 700lbs spring rate came from a 2016 3rd gen sport model truck, you might have seen the SEMA build? It's pretty sick!! You can keep doubting if you wish, like stated the 16's come from the factory with 1" lift so it is possible. All you haters gonna keep hating

Like PS78 stated Toytec internally tested factory springs off of their 2016 for R&D purposes. While they are not allowed to disclose the actual test results at this time the Springs did test with a 700+ rating.

I promise, I'm not hating. I'm just speaking from my own ride experience. 700+ lb is hella surprising.

Just finished installing my headstrong off-road lift which includes 885 OME coil overs, bilstein 5100's all the way around, Deaver AAL, and SPC light racing UCA. Got a total of 4 in of lift and this thing is perfectly level. Will be getting new wheels and tires this week. Let me know if you have any questions. Did this all myself.

Wow! 4"s up front? I am curious, how did you measure and I would be curious to see you CV axle angle and what setting on the 5100 you used.

I think ome 590# spring rate is fine with billies. They are used on many 2nd gen without problem, I believe 2nd gen spring rate is around 540# toytec also sells them with eibach spring at 620# so the 590# is fine, unless you preload heck of it.

OME doesn't sell them in kit, because they got their own shocks to sell, maybe even better tuned for that particular spring, and bilstein doesn't make coils to make set for our needs.
also toytec pioneering and input is very apprisated and I would support them if they had the exact setup that I need.

Yeah very surprising. I measured from the center of the hub to the fender. My cv axle doesn't look bad at all. I did not use a diff drop. I put a level on the bottom of the cab and I measured a 1 degree rake so basically level.

What measurement did you get? What was it before lift? Did you measure after test drive or rite after drop from jack stand?

That CV angle and tie rod end are not steep enough to net 4"s of lift. You would have more angle and your boot fins would be touching. Are you sure about the measurement?

If people choose to mix and match that is their choice but everyone needs to know that these companies will NOT honor warranties when you do this. I personally don't feel it's good business to sell mis-matched combos or even suggest them.

What sort of set up are you looking for exactly? Toytec might have it but it just isn't listed. You might want to give them a call and speak to them.

Hell I just ordered custom build ICON's for the rear of my truck through Toytec.

I'm skeptical cause the kits that were "designed" for the '16 Tacoma use the same parts as the ones designed for the 2nd gen. The toytec BOSS kits use the same front coilovers as the 2nd gen kit. Same with ICON. Now I would think that if both those kits springs were rated appropriately for the '16 Tacoma, that apparently needs 700+lb springs, then on a 2nd gen they would be stiff as hell and cause an unbearable ride but yet lots of 2nd gens running these kits and not reporting that. Just my $0.02

I'm going to call some iffyness here since the TRD OR comes with bilstein 5100s off the show room floor.

I measured after I drove approx. 100 miles.

    Pre lift measurements:
    Fwd- 20"
    Rear- 21 1/2"
    Post lift measurements:
    Fwd- 24"
    Rear- 24 1/4"
