02 Double Cab, Lunar mist. I want plastic Dip the front bumper valance and black plastic fender moldings. Which black or Anthracite Grey I kinda like the grey but there is a lot of black on the truck and adding a third color, I am having doubts. Your opinions would be appreciated.

I would say black. Grey will be good if it had more of a metallic look, but as far as I know the Plasti dip grey is kind of dull. It will probably look faded against the Lunar Mist.

He had mentioned anthracite grey, which is a metal flake I believe. Also if you apply the plasti - dip glossifier over top it can be made to look glossy.

Beautiful thing with Plasti Dip is that if you don't like it, peel it off and have another go in another colour (or color).

The Anthracite Grey does have a metallic look to it along with a little shine I think I will do the whole valance and se how it looks. I can always peal it offIMG_3721.jpg IMG_3720.jpg

Like what @RobD said, derp it and if you don't like it peel it. Just remember the thicker the coat the easier it will be to peel off.

The anthracite is a nice color in the sun, and has more of an aircraft carrier color when it's cloudy. I'm biased to this color, but here are some pics of the anthracite.

It's supposed to last 3-5 years. But already being a matte color odds are it won't fade much. This hood has been through I don't know how many of the beat the crud out of your car type car washes. It's whatever dark grey color they have in the rattle cans, 3-5 coats.

I've did my front bumper and bug shield with plasti dip and they turned out great, but I didn't like them on the flares. I had plasti dip on the flares for a few months and they looked awful because of all the rock chips and chemicals they put on the roads here. I just redid them with krylon paint. Looks way better IMO.

Did it myself :) it has been almost exactly one year since it has been applied. Other than a few rock chips and a couple of spots where it is raising (easily repairable with paint thinner and some spare paint leftover and a small brush), it has held up great. You can use turtle wax ICE or a synthetic wax and it will continue to repel water for a long time. Been six months since I applied wax, still beads water.
