I live in central Ontario, Canada, northwest of Toronto, in the snow belt off of Lake Huron. Here's today, Feb 12 at around 4pm. Pretty typical road conditions for around here. The vehicles need winter tires to be safe, and the heavy use of salt and sand on the roads all the time just kills exposed high performance parts, frames and sheet metal. About the only thing that doesn't rust eventually is plastic. But I try not to think about rust - mostly what you think about is keeping the shiny side up.
