I have not watched said video, but nevertheless:

A summary of a topic does not describe the individual. Whether or not the majority of short tube headers is better for low end gains than long tube headers, the fact remains: the dyno shows LCE dropping the torque curve, whereas the DT header raises it. No more needs to be said.

Ok, just watched the video out of curiosity. It's hilariously bad. For the first two minutes he was doing fine and using words like "mostly" and "typically" and talking about long tubes being good at exhaust scavenging... but then he started insinuating all kinds of weird things such as not being able to install a long tube without lifting your vehicle 3 feet off the ground, or short tubes giving better low end gains due to providing more back-pressure. I'll be sure never to ask Summit Racing for an opinion on anything in the future.

I didn't gain anything with the exception of less under hood temps. It was cheaper to go to the aluma-coated Doug Thorley header from LCE than to have the OEM header treated with the aluma-coat, go figure.

Love the low end torque, I've never have gone over 2600 RPM. Strongly suggest header if anyone is thinking of doing it.

I've never have gone over 2600 RPM.

    ...yet another I find impossible.

I've got a 05 4 cylinder basic, w/automatic with 3.88 rear end I've had it for 3.5 years now. I could never understand why there wasn't any pick up around town. Then I started watching my tach on the highway and accelerating from 0 to 70 and I'm not kidding it never went over 2600 rpm. I assume if I tow something the RPMs would increase trying to pull a heavy load.
