Come to Canada eh! :D! :canada: get some Coseco Ins.
When my 2nd gen was totalled adjuster asked me "so is there anything added to the vehicle you would like to claim"... 5 minutes later ....he's said , "alright . I'll let you take the stuff off your old truck since i cant find it in my list and can't pay you out for it, and how about I give you 3000 less than what you paid 4 years ago?"

I am new to the site and wanted to post a few mods I have done. I am a recent convert to the Tacoma, coming from a 2011 Nissan Frontier, I must say no comparison, love the Tacoma! I have owned mine since November but just got around to taking some pics. I read on here that some were looking for pics of the Go Rhino RB10 running boards. Well I have them. Very easy install, took maybe 45 minutes. They are a simple bolt on using the predrilled holes.

    Mods to date:
    3" Rough Country suspension lift
    285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer All-Terrain
    Smittybilt Beaver Step
    Tailgate vinyl letters (flat black)
    Husky floor mats
Window tint front and tint strip (35%)
    K&N air filter
    OEM Tacoma door sill protectors
    AVS window vents
    AVS bug guard
    Center console divider
    Interior LED lighting
    Fog light Lamin-X film cover

    Future mods:
I just signed up for the Cali Raised group deal for the 51.5" LED curved bar and ditch brackets with amber pods. (This is a good deal if anyone is looking to get in on it). Here is the link: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...3rd-gen-brackets-light-bars-group-buy.415366/

Hmmmmm, I just noticed that the dealer only tinted my front windows to match the rears Any one else get dealer tint and they only matched the rear stock tint?

I'm thinking If the rears don't have any film on them I loose some ability to keep the cab cooler in the summer. Thoughts?

If you asked for dealer tint, probably should have specified which windows you wanted them to tint.

Given the factory rear glass is darkened to about 35% tint level, you could be clear film over them to block heat and UV 70% which is nearly clear. Or you can go darker but you'd have to re-do the front windows.

Good color, but they don't seem to provide additional visibility over stock halogens.

I know man it's the TRD PRO you would think they would throw on at least some of the top items that are found on the limited! It looks good and the suspension is good but they skipped out on a lot of other items.

From the sounds of it, you could afford to just go buy another one :D

Just kidding... Well not really, but I understand just because you got money doesn't mean you wanna spend it all.

I make just over 19 grand a year. Military disability pension. I can't afford to owe ANY money on a totaled vehicle I can't drive... Therefore Gap is my friend LOL hell my dog is fully insured medically too.... I try and plan ahead...

I'd look into specialty insurances or something really, if people can insure their hands, paintings, pets, etc etc I'm sure you could insure your modded truck.... Whether it's worth the cost or not would be your decision though.
